TC De Witt's The Princess Knight

New artwork is in the process of being made for TC De Witt's The Princess Knight.
There are 16 characters from this stage musical turned puppet feature and here I have the first of the many exciting characters to come. The film is in the preproduction stage and is set to start filming in the coming months. Stay tuned!

Vesper the witch

There once was a girl named Isa

A fun little birthday drawing with the color pencils.
I'm really enjoying my toned tan sketchbook.
I plan on getting at least one drawing into it a day.
Looking good so far.

It was a dark and stormy night in the 1980's

I had the opportunity to be present at a photoshoot a few days ago. The photographer needed a motorcycle and so I lent him mine to use. I really loved how the lighting looked in the photos he took, so I thought I'd play around with the color pencils and see what I could do with it.
Here you can find the photos from the shoot.
This is what I produced from the one I referenced.

The Band With No Name

The weekend of August 4th, I had the pleasure of getting together with a group of dedicated film friends to participate in another 48 Hour Film Project. Having already participated in Madison, Wisconsin two weeks prior, I felt overjoyed to have yet another chance at this wonderful competition. This time we joined Los Angeles in their race to put together an 8 minute film on the fly.

Here's our group at the screening for our film at Regal Cinemas in LA.
We had a wonderful time viewing the 11 other shorts that played along with ours.
Be on the look out for our short, "After April".
I'll be posting it in another week or two once all the awards have been announced and we are allowed to make it public.

The Spill Amigos 2013

This is a piece I painted for a lovely friend of mine and longtime Spill member, Tony Guerrero; otherwise known as The Co-Host 3000.

After TC and I attended Spill con at RTX in Austin, TX this year, I wanted to show a little love and made this as a tribute to the wonderful weekend spent there.

Organized the studio

This summer has been quite busy, what with all this traveling and film festival winning. However I've been so caught up in everything that I've been neglecting my art space for some time.
I finally got around to putting some work up to remind myself of what I'm capable of and to keep striving for more.

I'm looking forward to getting some more creative accomplishments up on the walls as time goes by. Until then, check out "The Noize" a multi-award-winning short film I had the pleasure of being a part of in Madison Wisconsin.

TJ Brutal Customs

I wanted to dedicate a little something to my bike mechanic.
He's always in such good spirit whenever I see him.
I felt the need to show him I truly appreciate the work he's done on my bike.

This is for Tommy Jean Styles of

Doodles and more

I attended a meeting for this year's Los Angeles 48 Hour Film Competition that will be held in August. While there, T.C De Witt and I came up with a few doodles.

Afterwards, when I returned home, I brought one of those doodles to completion.
Here's the finalized version.

For the faery fans

An acquaintance and very nice girl in my art history class
said she really liked fairies. One day after watching me draw, she asked if I could draw one for her.

Here you go Alexa.
I'm glad you liked it.

is the earlier light version.

Bat Tat Designs

My friend asked if I could design a tattoo for him involving bats and the word valor.
The color was just for fun.
Here's what I came up with.
